Submit A Script

We have had several productions in the past that have been written by other playwrights. Those productions were Querencia Calling in 2025, and Only Human in 2026. Both shows received wonderful reviews and created an ecstatic atmosphere in the theatres.

Every year we hunt around Australia for playwrights with scripts that haven’t been produced, or are in the works. When we receive a script we read the whole text, then provide the playwright with extensive feedback and opinions on it. We also give an indication of where we stand on producing the show. We get many submissions and can only choose one.

This initiative is a great way for playwrights to get their name out to the community, especially a different state if they don’t reside in South Australia. A difficult part of being a playwright can be finding companies to take the risk and produce an unknown work. We acknowledge that original works are also going through a refinement process with our productions, scripts won’t ever be nailed the first time, and the best way to test to see if your text works, is by actually seeing it live!
