We have loads of opportunities for you to work with us from cast and crew, director, admin, just about anything! Crew/ Admin
For interest in stage management, crew, tech ops, tech design, set construction, photography, FOH staff, assistance, wardrobe, or floats, fill out the below form with all the information required, you’ll be added onto a private data base that we can use to contact relevant people we require. Alternatively, send us an email directly with your interest.
Playwright
If you have an original play or musical that has never been staged or produced before, we’d love to hear from you! Head over to this form to detail your work and upload a copy of the script for us to read. Our managing director Lochie will read the script in it’s entirety, and provide detailed feedback, along with an update on whether we are interested in producing your work. Please note that generally speaking, PitchWhite avoids pieces with a heavy political or religious theme, but is willing to look at any genre and tonality.
Director
If you are interested in directing a show with us, we have at least one opportunity a year where we source a local Adelaide director for a show. These shows are fully original scripts written by an Australian playwright that has never been produced before (See above). To submit your interest in being a director, simply fill out the form below which just requires a name, email, and phone number, that will store the relevant information on a secure and private database. When we decide upon which show we’re doing, we will send the script around to directors we believe will be suited to the show and are on our record as being interested for you to read and decide if you’re keen!
Propose A Show
(For Perspective Arts Theatre Company)
Perspective Arts Theatre Company specialises in non-original works, essentially a script that has been produced before to paying audience. We do a wide range of productions from musicals, plays to cabarets, and are always keen to hear about people who want to produce or direct a show. You can make a proposal of any show you’ve been dying to direct or produce, and if accepted you’ll be given the opportunity to work on your dream show, fully funded and produced for you.
This is a comprehensive process where one would need to fill out the below form, be accepted to move to the next step, do a face to face proposal of your show, and be accepted into the Perspective Season. The form below will outline all the necessary information regarding the process. Can’t wait to hear all your amazing ideas!
